Description:
The project aims to improve the environmental impact of IN.CO’s core manufacturing product lines through the digitalization of the processes that most impact energy and resource consumption. Greater process standardization, the increased use of digital modelling tools, the potential use of artificial intelligence tools, and the development of advanced simulation systems will make processes more efficient and precise, reducing energy and raw material consumption. This will also enable the development, starting in the design phase, of procedures to facilitate the disassembly of products at the end of their life cycle. This will be achieved through the development of selective disassembly techniques and tools that can define an efficient product disassembly plan, integrated into the product, which can be used by any entity involved in these phases.
The project also plans to develop eco-design solutions with reference to research into materials best able to meet the high-quality standards required by the brand, aiming to achieve new product performance using an innovative material such as graphene.
Objectives:
Improve the environmental impact of Fashion manufacturing through the digitalization of the processes, facilitate the disassembly of products at the end of their life cycle, and develop eco-design solutions.
Application Contexts:
Provide the Fashion sector of innovative tools to improve the environmental impact of fashion manufacturing production, facilitate the circular recycling and reuse of fashion products at the end of their life cycle, and improve research into materials to meet the high-quality standards of brands using innovative materials.
Expected Results:
Develop innovative tools to improve the environmental impact of fashion manufacturing production, facilitating the circular recycling and reuse of product.
Achivied Results:
Develop innovative tools to improve the environmental impact of fashion manufacturing production, facilitating the circular recycling and reuse of product.
