Description:
PENTA aims to create an “ideal factory” model based on a harmonious and interactive model of interventions for the optimization of production processes and general quality, with practical and operational aids to adapt the process to the needs of workers, and with actions to increase the energy efficiency of plants and processing cycles. The name PENTA, in addition to being revealed by the acronym, also defines its composite structure: it is divided into 5 subsystems (or modules) that have the purpose of independently managing each of the project’s objectives, but which are harmoniously correlated and coordinated with each other and with the higher hierarchical management systems present in the company (the MES or the photovoltaic plant control system). The modules cover the following topics: Automatic quality check, Increased ergonomic mobility or Pick&Go, Energy consumption monitoring and forecasting, Traceability, geolocalization of machined and packaged products, support for optimal truck stowage.
Objectives:
Automatic quality check, Increased ergonomic mobility or Pick&Go, Energy consumption monitoring and forecasting, Traceability, geolocalization of machined and packaged products, support for optimal truck stowage.
Application Contexts:
Production of furniture and semi-finished products for furniture
Expected Results:
Automatic quality check, Increased ergonomic mobility or Pick&Go, Energy consumption monitoring and forecasting, Traceability, geolocalization of machined and packaged products, support for optimal truck stowage.
Achivied Results:
Automatic quality check, Increased ergonomic mobility or Pick&Go, Energy consumption monitoring and forecasting, Traceability, geolocalization of machined and packaged products, support for optimal truck stowage.
