Riccardo Rosati was born in Cagli (PU) on 13th December 1992.
In July 2018, he received the Master of Science degree (cum laude) in Biomedical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, Italy, with a thesis entitled “Measurement of Activity of Daily Living: a simulation tool for the optimization of a Passive Infrared sensor network in Smart Home environment” within eWare EU project. After an internship (Sept 2018 – Mar 2019) at Department of Radiology, Division of Image Processing of Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), Leiden, Netherlands, he was a research fellow at Università Politecnica delle Marche from July to October 2019.
He is currently a Ph.D. student at Università Politecnica delle Marche, with a scholarship financed by the Marche Region for the project “Embedded Automation and Edge Computing for Industry 4.0”.
His research topics include Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques applied to biomedical field and Industry 4.0 landscape.
