His research interests lie within the area of modeling and design techniques for radio-frequency integrated circuits. In particular, he has been working on passive device modeling and deembedding techniques.
He is also interested in system identification, system-level circuit modelling and, recently, in computational intelligence for localization and guidance systems.
Mauro Ballicchia was born in Senigallia, Italy, in 1979. He received the Laurea degree (cum laude) in electronics engineering from Universita' Politecnica delle Marche in 2005 and the Ph.D degree in electronics informatics and telecommunications engineering, from the same university, in 2008.
Since 2009 he has been Research Assistant at the Department of Biomedical, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (DIBET), now Information Engineering Department (DII) at Universita' Politecnica delle Marche.
