Capsule Bio

Patrick KAPITA received his Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering and Science from the Università degli Studi di Siena, at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione e Scienze, in 2020, with a dissertation entitled: “Development of Measurement Systems for Biosensing Applications” under the supervision of Prof. Marco Mugnaini.
Since 2020 he is with the UNIVPM at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione, as a PostDoc Research Fellow.
Patrick KAPITA is a member of the IEEE community: IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society and IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society.
His is an author/coauthor of scientific papers in international conferences and journals, and associate editor of International Journal Electronics, Communications and Measurement Engineering.

His research interests are in event based camera, image processing and computer vision.
