Ilaria Marcantoni, born in Sant’Elpidio a Mare (AP) on 27 September 1990, received her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (cum laude) at Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) in 2013 and her Degree in Electronic Engineering – Biomedical curriculum (cum laude) at Università Politecnca delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) in 2016.
Since November 2017, she is a PhD student at the Department of Information Engineering (DII) of the Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy).
Research Areas:
Her main research interest is the automatic processing of digital cardiovascular signals (electrocardiograms, tachograms), particularly for the detection of non-invasive cardiovascular risk indexes, focusing her research work on the identification and quantification of electrocardiographic alternans and correlated syndromes (e.g. long QT syndrome).
