Skin Conductance, Physiological Measurement, Wearable Measurements, Accuracy
Research focuses on the measurement of the Skin Conductance signal by means of commercial or prototype and Lab-made wearable devices and electrodes, by addressing all the metrological issues related to accuracy, uncertainty, interfering quantities, that must be evaluated to obtain proper measurement data and its relative uncertainty. This way, the reliability of the information obtained by processing the collected measurements may be improved. Applications deal with drowsiness detection in drivers, human physical effort quantification, stress-related and cognitive fatigue, objective evaluation of acoustic stimulation for the improvement of audio equalization algorithms.
