Capsule Bio
Maria Gardano was born in Loreto (AN), Italy, on 7th December 1982.
She graduated in the Bachelor of Construction Engineering at Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) in the a/a 2009/2010, with a thesis about “Interaction of concrete with galvanized reinforcement during casting.”
She received the Master Degree in Construction Engineering with a thesis in structural rehabilitation on the topic “Seismic vulnerability of the Ex-Crass, Macerata” at Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) in the a/a 2012/2013.
She has been a high school teacher in the A040 teaching class (Electrical and Electronic Sciences and Technologies) since 2018 and has held the full professorship since the first of September 2023.
Since November 2023, she is currently a Ph.D. Student at the Department of Information Engineering (DII), Università Politecnica delle Marche.
Research Areas:
Her research interest is mainly focused on ICT solutions for healtcare and wellness with a particular interest in the analysis of the application of mmWave technologies. Her current focus is on the study of key value indicators and key performance indicators for ICT applied to ambient assisted living.
