Capsule Bio
Lorenzo Federici was born in Urbino (PU) in 1997. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technologies from the Università degli Studi “Carlo Bo” (Urbino) in 2020. He then completed a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Automation at the Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona), graduating cum laude in February 2024 with a thesis titled “Multi-task deep learning for lung ultrasound Covid-19 detection.”
Since November 2024, he has been a PhD student in Information Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering (DII) of the Università Politecnica delle Marche.
Research Areas:
His research focuses on leveraging Deep Learning for medical applications, particularly in the field of Federated Learning.
