Capsule Bio

Dr. C.H. Joseph received BSc degree in physics from “St. John’s College”, Tirunelveli, India (2004-2007) and MSc degree in physics from “The American College”, Madurai, India (2010). From 2010 to 2013, he worked as a project associate at the Microwave laboratory, Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT M), India. 
In 2013, he received European Commission’s prestigious “Marie Curie ITN Research Fellowship” and joined as an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) at National Research Council of Italy, Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems (CNR-IMM) Rome Unit and received his PhD degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2016. During that period, he involved in the European Commission’s project “NANOMICROWAVE” (https://www.nanomicrowave.eu/home.htm). 
He was a visiting researcher at Keysight labs, Keysight Technology, Linz, Austria (2014-2016) and at CNRS-IEMN labs in Lille, France (2016). 
In 2017, he received Institute Post-doctoral fellowship and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), India.
In 2018 he joined as a researcher at Department of Information Engineering, Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM), Ancona, Italy. 

Research Areas:

His current research interest includes Nanoscale characterization of 2D advanced materials and biological structures using scanning microwave microscopy (SMM) technique, RF/microwave devices, Nanoelectronics, Artificial permittivity and permeability engineering for integrated circuits and systems.
