Capsule Bio

She received a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche in July 2022, with a thesis analyzing how asthma affects variations in respiratory and electrocardiographic signals, focusing specifically on changes in QT interval. She then completed her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, cum laude from the same university in July 2024. Her master’s thesis, titled “Modelling Coronary Artery Resistance for Numerical Simulation of the Aortic-Root Fluid-Dynamics and Coronaries Perfusion,” involving advanced simulations to better understand coronary blood flow dynamics.
During the master’s studies, she completed an Erasmus+ internship at the Department of Cardiology at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where she focused on the assessment of hemodynamics in the vascular system to understand disease state and progression.
In November 2024, she began her doctoral studies at the Information Engineering Department of Università Politecnica delle Marche.

Research Areas:

Her research interests are centered on the analysis of cardiovascular signals, to study atrial fibrillation and other cardiac arrhythmias, using machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to extract relevant features, aiming to develop models that can predict disease progression and improve personalized patient management in cardiovascular care.
