Capsule Bio
Giorgio Olivieri was born in Fermo (FM),Italy, on November 5th 2000. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Automation Engineering in February 2023 at Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) with a thesis entitled “Cloud-Based Battery Management for Lithium-Ion Batteries”.
He then received his Master’s degree (cum laude) in Management Engineering in July 2025 at Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) with a thesis entitled “Electricity management optimization using Data Science techniques”.
Since November 2025, he is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Information Engineering (DII) at Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy).
He is also part of the athletics national team in the hammer throw with medals and appearances in various international competitions such as world and european championships.
Research Areas:
His research focuses on energy optimization and management in smart grids through AI and on the optimization of lithium batteries as energy storage and estimation of residual life.
