Capsule Bio
Dennis Rapaccini was born on April 28th, 2000, in Macerata (MC), Italy. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona, Italy) in 2022, with a thesis entitled “FAUST development of multi-effects algorithm for guitar and implementation on DSP Sharc”.
He then obtained his Master’s degree (110/110 cum laude) in Electronic Engineering from the same university in 2025, with a thesis entitled “RGBW LED Temperature Compensation for Automotive Interior Lighting: Algorithms Validation, Improvement and Test Automation Development”.
Since November 2025, he has been a Ph.D. student at the Department of Information Engineering (DII) of Università Politecnica delle Marche, funded and in close collaboration with Infineon Technologies.
Research Areas:
His research focuses on lithium-ion battery management systems for automotive applications, with an emphasis on parameter estimation, embedded and edge artificial intelligence algorithms on microcontroller platforms, and strategies to enhance battery lifetime and promote sustainable use.
His work also addresses compensation and control algorithms for automotive LED systems.
