Capsule Bio
Benedetta Castagna graduated cum laude with a Master’s in Building Engineering-Architecture from the Università Politecnica delle Marche. She completed her PhD at the Kent School of Architecture and Planning, University of Kent, where her dissertation focused on architectural regeneration and adaptive reuse to foster socio-economic revitalization, particularly within the Marche region. Currently, she is a Research Fellow in the Department of Information Engineering at UNIVPM, contributing to interdisciplinary projects.
Her work involves EU-funded initiatives that bridge architecture, marine robotics, and digital learning environments, utilizing her combined expertise in built environment research and technological innovation.
Benedetta’s international background supports her role as Project Manager at ANcybernetics, academic spin-off of the Università Politecnica delle Marche, where she oversees project organization and event management to foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
