Capsule Bio
Alessandro Dell’Orletta received his master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche in February 2025. His thesis focused on electroencephalogram analysis to implement machine learning regression models for human emotion recognition.
He is currently a PhD student in the Department of Information Engineering at Università Politecnica delle Marche, where his research focuses on the design and implementation of algorithms and innovative pipelines for neurodevelopment characterization through neuroimaging.
Research Areas:
His main research interests include advanced methods for the automatic and semi-automatic processing of brain images, particularly functional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging, aimed at identifying structural and functional patterns related to neurodevelopment, and at detecting biomarkers for the early diagnosis and monitoring of neurodevelopmental disorders.
