Gionata Cimini was born in San Severino Marche, Italy, on 4th September, 1988.
In 2010, he receive the B.Sc. degree in Informatics and Automation Engineering from Polytechnic University of Marche with a thesis entitled "Verifica Sperimentale di Sistemi a Radiofrequenza per la Localizzazione Geometrica" (supervisor Prof. Sauro Longhi).
In 2012, he receive the M.Sc. degree (cum laude) in Informatics and Automation Engineering from Polytechnic University of Marche with a thesis entitled "Progetto e sviluppo di sistemi di controllo digitale per un preregolatore switch PFC" (supervisor Prof. Gianluca Ippoliti).
In 2013 he is a research assistant at Department of Information Engineering at the Polytechinc University of Marche.
In November 2013 he starts the Ph.D. in Information Engineer with curriculum: Computer engineering, management and automation, under the supervision of Prof. Sauro Longhi and Gianluca Ippoliti.
Currently he is a visiting Ph.D. at IMT Alti Studi di Lucca, under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Bemporad.
